On an annual October visit to The Candlelight House in Franklin, Indiana, the focus was on the Reverse Speech Steve’s Box in ITC sessions. The attempt was to contact Owens family descendants, including Otho Pritchard — but much more than bargained for came through. Who truly responds with these devices? What’s the meaning behind their cryptic messages? There’s no way that so many direct, intelligent, consistent and at times obscenity-filled replies can all be fully discredited — but is it truly paranormal — or are we just batshit crazy? As a student of ITC, I say it’s a little of both.
